(4:09)ESPN DigitalApr 9, 2024, 1:00 p.m. ETThe various ESPN platforms were recognized as part of the list of nominees for the 45th Annual Sports Emmy Awards.The National Academy of Arts and Sciences of the Television (NATAS, for its acronym in English) announced the list of nominees for the 45th Annual Edition of the Sports Emmy Awards, whose gala will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at the Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York.ESPN was nominated in several categories, including Live Series for Monday Night Football and Outstanding Playoff Coverage with the College Football Playoff Semifinals.ESPN Deportes, in particular, is nominated for Outstanding Interactive Experience as part of the College Football Playoff Megacast, Outstanding Studio Show in Spanish for 'Now or Never', Outstanding Feature Story in Spanish for 'In Her Shoes: Wang Shuang' and 'SC Reports: Do Bronx – Charles Oliveira', while Carolina Guillén and Rebeca Landa are nominated for Outstanding On-Air Personality in Spanish. ESPN's various nominated platforms include, in addition to ESPN Deportes, ESPN2, ESPN+ , ESPNU, ESPNews, SEC Network and ESPN App. Nominees were included in 46 categories, spanning Outstanding Live Special and Live Series, Documentary (in four categories), Journalism, Public Service Content and Esports Coverage, as well as Outstanding Studio Presenter and Event Analyst, among others.
